Jeffrey's Bay Beach

Jeffrey's Bay Surf

-::- Guide No: GR1738 -::- Coast to Coast - Page 145 -::-

Our guesthouse is situated less than 100m from the beach in the Wavecrest area of Jeffrey's Bay. It's a short walk to the paddle-out channel at Supertubes and everything else is in close supply. Watching the waves at sunset from the balcony while sipping a cold one is a daily ritual.

The guesthouse sleeps 24 people when full, so we are able to maintain a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. There are 5 double rooms, 1 four-sleeper mini-dorms, and an 10-sleeper dorm. All linen is provided. There is also a small camping area in the garden that comfortably accomodates three tents.

We maintain a spacious garden as a beautiful place to unwind in, lounging in the hammocks under our traditional Xhosa-style 'boma', sun-baking amidst the tropical plants,or sharing tales with other travellers.

There is a fully equipped self catering kitchen our guests can use during their stay. Everyday the famous Ubuntu Free Breakfast is available from 8am until 10.30am. Each night we cook a large, traditional African meal, and we invite our guests to experience some of South Africa's many delicious local flavours.
From reception we sell a range of cooldrinks, bottled water and snacks.

In the upstairs Lounge you can enjoy a free pool game with your friends or hang out on the deck with its beautiful view. The downstairs lounge features a big screen projector for our 8pm movie. For comfort there are loads of couches, beanbags, pillows, hanging hammocks and mattresses. Foozball coming soon! And: we have free internet for our guests.
